Go North of Fairbanks on New Steese Hwy - turn left on Hagelbarger Rd -
go 1 mile then turn right on Old Steese (note sign on right approx. 100
yards).
The club has 4 traps and is
open from March through October, Wednesday and Thursday evenings from 6
to 9pm. Sunday 12 noon to 5pm. Registered shoots start at 11am.
We have power for 6 to 8 motor homes ( no dump station)
and showers for out of town guests.
Home of the Alaska PITA State Shoot, the Fairbanks Trap Club was
established in 1958. Conveniently located 6½ miles outside of beautiful
Fairbanks, Alaska on the Old Steese Highway.
The club, which is open to the public, has close to 60 members who
enjoy the 2,400 sq. ft. clubhouse. Four PAT traps, one of which is also
Wobble-Doubles. 5 stand and sporting clays. Registered, league, and
practice shooting is available for everyone. Shower facilities, and
electrical hookups are available for our RV travelers. Ammunition can be
purchased at the clubhouse, along with food and beverages. Free
instructing is available upon request.
