The Hillsboro Trap and Skeet Club has been at its present location since 1950.  Once considered one of the best places in Oregon to shoot, Hillsboro has hosted State shoots and the famous Nut Shoot to some of the largest crowds around.

Gary Morlan with his group of experienced trapshooters started a program of replacing old traps with new automatic Pat traps.  Club members pitch in by volunteering to score at shoots and working to improve the club facility. 

The club President, Johnny Terry, says the new traps are operational with expanded club hours and additional open days planned.  Wednesday’s hours were increased to 10:00am to 10:00pm. Also now open on Thursdays from 10:00am to dark and the Pro Shop is open for business during club hours.
