November Preview from Sue Brewer: Dear member,
Its renewal time again. Renewal options are 1 year $20.00, 3 years $60.00 or life membership $400.00. Support your Association; order your Averages & History Yearbook at the same time for only $10.00 (one year) or $30.00 (3 years). Pay by check, credit card or online at www.shootpita.com. Please note the addition of postage, $4.00, for yearbooks ordered after 1/15/2010.
Thank you to those that supported our young shooters memberships in 2008 and 2009. We continue to offer this option as your way to SUPPORT THE FUTURE OF THE SPORT!! Sponsor one or more new youth shooters. The Y-E-S Committee is asking for your support by enclosing an extra $10.00 (or more if you desire) to sponsor a new junior shooter. We hope all clubs will participate in the Y-E-S training program and send their teams to the 2010 Grand Pacific competition.Over $4,000 in scholarship money is awarded annually to teams at the Grand Pacific.
Have you visited the P.I.T.A. website recently? If not take a look, www.shootpita.com. In addition to viewing and printing your scores and All Star team averages, you can also obtain shoot programs and see shoot results. Encourage your club to post their information – it’s the best advertising you can get for the money - FREE. Look for the quarterly P.I.T.A. eNewsletter coming to your inbox in November. We hope to pass interesting and informative items to you each quarter. If you prefer to not receive this publication you can easily unsubscribe. If we do not have your current email address please sign up online for the eNewsletter.
Make plans to attend the 2010 P.I.T.A. Grand Pacific, July 18-24 (Sunday-Saturday). RV reservations are being accepted. Phone or email for rates and more information. The Executive Committee will finalize the program at their winter meeting. As always, your suggestions are welcome. Phone (541) 258-8766 or email sue@shootpita.com. If you need an invitation please contact me or Jim Graham.
The most significant rule change this year is the elimination of the Alternate Earned Yardage Chart and the change to the Earned Yardage Chart. Be sure to review the new rule book addendum that accompanies your card. The rule book is printed in a larger format in the 2009 Averages & History Book – remember to order your copy below.
Looking forward to another great year.

November Preview From Webmaster / Director Rob Charny;
Have you visited your web site lately? I spend a lot of time making your web site the
most user friendly and updated place for you to go about anything and
everything PITA. One of the new features we have added recently is our updated
and interactive shoot calendar. Shoot schedules can change during the year and
with our new calendar we are able to keep the shoot dates and times updated
more accurately than a calendar that is printed a year in advance. So I always suggest
that you visit the calendar before heading out just to make sure there hasn’t
been some type of change.
We have been encouraging clubs to send me their shoot
results to post on our site. We have
many shooters excited to see how their friends and fellow shooters are doing at
a given shoot. It is the responsibility of the clubs to send me their shoot
results. So please encourage the clubs where you shoot to send their results.
Winning scores, number of shooters, number of events and also punches make for
a great report. I will have more about
this in our November eNews.
Have you visited our online store? This is a great place to purchase PITA
merchandise. Christmas is coming and why not buy your friends and family a new
PITA jacket, or a embroidered patch or even better our new Cookbook which is on
sale now through Christmas. Click here and check it out.
So keep an eye out for our November eNews, lots of great
stuff coming to your inbox soon.
